What is the KAF App?
The KAF App is your digital companion for health, performance, and well-being. It combines diagnostics, exercises, and knowledge to support you step by step.
Who is the app designed for?
The app is suitable for individuals with back pain as well as anyone who wants to prevent discomfort.
What features does the app offer?

Do I need any special equipment for the medical training therapy?
No. For the medical training with the KAF App, no equipment is generally needed. You will only need an exercise mat, one or two towels or cushions for some selected exercises, and sometimes a chair or one or two medical balls, which you can purchase directly here.
Should I warm up before training?
The training is designed to gradually warm up your body. Therefore, additional warming up is not necessary.
What else should I consider during training?
Listen to your body! If you do not feel well, you should stop the training and postpone it to another day. Also, make sure to drink enough, especially on training days. If you experience pain during certain exercises, skip those and indicate in the feedback function where and what kind of pain you have.
At what pace should I perform the exercises?
Perform the exercises at your own pace. It is not about doing the exercises quickly in succession, but about performing them in a controlled manner and with a positive body feeling.
I want to change my training programme. How do I do that?
The training programme can only be changed by the KAF Team. During the consultation, we determine which exercises are most suitable for you. Through your continuous feedback in the app, the KAF Team can continually adjust your training plan to your progress and needs.
How do I know if I am performing the exercises correctly?
All exercises are explained in detail in the training videos. Before performing the exercise, it is recommended to watch the video and listen to the instructions. This way, you will know what to pay attention to. Once you know how to perform the exercise correctly, you can start doing it.
What are the requirements for my smartphone to train with the KAF App?
For training with the KAF App, you need approximately 300 MB of free storage space. The minimum requirements are Android version 7.0 and iOS 16.0.
Will my training plan be synchronised so that I can train from different devices?
Yes. Your training plan is automatically synchronized with your account. Whether on smartphone, tablet, or desktop – once you log in with your account, you have access to your exercises and progress everywhere.
Can I use the KAF App offline?
A stable internet connection is important for using the KAF App. An internet connection is necessary for this as well as for logging in.

For questions, suggestions, or feedback, you can contact us anytime at support-kafapp@dr-kaf.de. We will address your concerns as quickly as possible.
Do I need to cancel the app subscription?
No. After your three-month plan has ended, your training automatically expires. It will only be renewed if you wish and if you agree to an extension during your final consultation with the KAF Team.
